Happy Hearts - Ages 50+ (Seniors Group)Happy Hearts includes, but is not limited to, seniors in the St. Bartholomew's Catholic parish family. We are a ministry of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Our purpose is to give seniors 50 and over an opportunity to meet on the Second Monday of every month.
Our gathering begins with a brief business meeting followed by a delicious potluck luncheon. We sell door prize tickets at each meeting. One dollar buys you a chance to win one of several prizes we offer before we adjourn. We share ideas and important information tailored to seniors' needs today.
We enjoy taking monthly bus trips, both local and out of town (day trips), to visit historical sites, museums, plays, wineries, restaurants, and other exciting places of interest. We recognize birthdays and anniversaries during our meetings. Every year, we plan a fun event and a fundraiser.
Through fundraising, Happy Hearts can contribute to various non-profits in our area and help cover parish expenses.
