The KDM Purity Support Group (King David’s Men) is a support fellowship for adult Catholic men who are seeking help with issues related to sexual integrity and purity. Topics addressed include pornography use, masturbation, promiscuity, infidelity, and related struggles. New members may join at any time.
This group is specifically for Catholic men and integrates Catholic spirituality with psychological science.
Meeting Details
Location: St. Thérèse Office, Gratia Plena, Stafford, Texas
Schedule: Saturdays at 10:00 AM
Cost: $15 per session
Facilitators: Male licensed mental health professionals
Format: Check-in, brief presentation, and discussion
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
Who Is Welcome
This group welcomes men:
Of any marital status (single, engaged, married, separated, or divorced)
Who are actively struggling with issues related to sexual integrity
Who may be in crisis
Who have recovered from these issues and wish to support other men
Who are not actively practicing Catholics but are open to Catholic discussion and theology
Facilitation and Confidentiality
For over 12 years, Catholic psychologist Dr. Ken Buckle has served as the main facilitator. Other male therapists from Gratia Plena sometimes participate and lead sessions. Because of the nature of the topic, the group is private, and all members sign a confidentiality agreement.
