Join us for the Rorate Mass, a cherished Catholic tradition celebrated in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary during Advent. This beautiful Mass begins before dawn, in the quiet darkness of the early morning, and is illuminated only by candlelight. As the liturgy progresses, the light of day slowly fills the church—symbolizing the coming of Christ, the Light of the World.
The name “Rorate” comes from the ancient Advent chant “Rorate caeli” (“Drop down, ye heavens”), expressing our longing for the Savior.
